Persuasion

Well I’m must say when it comes to romance no one writes it like Jane Austen

Her writing style is a mix of neoclassicism and romanticism, full of passion and emotions. Her characters are detailed, self aware and very realistic. Add comedy to the mix and you have a great novel. I’m not an expert on Jane Austen but I do love a good emotional romance.

She started writing as a child and wrote a total of six novels. Persuasion was Jane’s last completed work written and published in 1817 and was her last completed novel.

Why is persuasion my favorite because it’s about a mature, earthy, non-conforming woman with modern sensibilities who runs thru the gamut of emotions of a broken engagement.

The story begins seven years after the broken engagement . Anne Elliot’s consciousness is pervasive thru out as she goes thru the emotions of being in love and still being in love with the estranged man after seven years

I recommend the Netflix movie for people that love romance and Jane Austen also beautifully filmed even thou it has received a bad review something I never read or go by 😂it’s worth the 90 minutes of your viewing time to get your dose of Jane Austen it’s a guilty pleasure
