My grandmother has that same set of china. When she sold her house and moved to Arizona, the movers were not careful with it and it shattered.

You know just because I like it I don’t need it. I just downsized all of my dishes in my kitchen so that I’m using my China now and on a daily basis you get just too many sets of dishes and no place to put them.

My Mother had a dinner set with the Blue WIllow pattern it was quite old and I don't know what happened to it when she passed away. Maybe someone threw any pieces that were left out when clearing out her house.

Thank you for another interesting history story behind art! I love that the China tells a story. Blue and white china is so classic. When we lived in The Netherlands there was so much beautiful Delft Blue china. Thank you, Halina, for all the research and detail you put into your blog. ❤️

I loved reading the history of Blue Willow. Porcelains are very dear to my heart because my sweet grandmother Meme had a gorgeous collection and now my mother does and I have several pieces myself. At some point, I will be sure to send you a picture of my hutch with all of them displayed.
